Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Focus Timer EX+, published by Glitchmodo LLC, handles information. The app does not require a Glitchmodo account.
Information stored on your device
Focus Timer EX+ stores timer preferences, focus and break durations, sound preferences, theme settings, notification preferences, and a cached Remove Ads entitlement on your device. This information is used to provide and restore app functionality. Glitchmodo does not receive this locally stored information. You can remove it by clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling the app.
Advertising
The free experience uses Google AdMob to display banner advertisements. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share IP address information, which may be used to estimate general location; app and advertisement interactions; diagnostic information; and device or account identifiers. Google uses this information for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Information transmitted by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit.
Where required, Google’s User Messaging Platform may present privacy and consent choices before advertisements are requested. Advertising behavior may vary according to your location, consent choices, device settings, and applicable law. Learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy.
Purchases
Focus Timer EX+ offers an optional one-time purchase that removes advertisements and unlocks background and screen-off audio. Purchases are processed by Google Play or Apple’s App Store. Glitchmodo does not receive your payment-card information. The app receives purchase status and entitlement information needed to provide and restore purchased features.
Notifications
If you permit notifications, Focus Timer EX+ uses them to provide timer-completion alerts. Timer and notification scheduling information is processed on your device. You can disable notifications through the app or device settings.
Analytics and accounts
Focus Timer EX+ does not require an account. Glitchmodo does not operate a custom analytics or crash-reporting service for the app.
Sharing
Glitchmodo does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by Google through AdMob, Google Play Billing, and Google’s consent services as described above. Support messages are processed only when you choose to contact us.
Data retention and deletion
App preferences and cached entitlement information remain on your device until you clear app storage or uninstall the app. Purchase records and advertising information are retained by the applicable platform or advertising provider according to their policies. Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain appropriate records, or meet legal obligations.
Children
Focus Timer EX+ is intended for users age 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13.
Security
Glitchmodo uses reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the information handled by the app. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes
We may update this policy when app features, service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date will identify the latest revision.
